ESS Expands Houston Team to Support Growing Global Customer Base

TEMPE, Ariz. - May 20, 2009 - ESS, the leading provider of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and Crisis Management software for enterprise sustainability, today announced the continued expansion of its Houston team to support accelerating demand for greenhouse gas/carbon management, worker safety, environmental compliance, emergency management and corporate responsibility reporting solutions.
ESS' expansion will ensure strong support for customers and partners throughout the Gulf Coast region, and around the world, who are implementing integrated software platforms to streamline their EH&S sustainability programs. ESS software is deployed across multiple industries - including oil and gas production, petroleum refining, power utilities, chemicals and manufacturing sectors.
New members of ESS' team in Houston include:
- Mark Kilpatrick, Director of Operations, joined ESS to lead its client services team and work with implementation partners to address the growing demand for service delivery of ESS products. His background includes broad experience providing EH&S services delivery and application hosting services to Fortune 100 companies. Kilpatrick has 13 years experience managing progressive operations and finance teams in services and software consulting environments. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Baylor University.
- David Bradley, Client Services Director is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive deployment plans and establishing best practices for ESS clients. He brings more than 15 years experience implementing commercial EH&S data management applications for clients in the oil and gas, refining, and petrochemical industries. Bradley has led numerous project teams in meeting customers' on-specification delivery of critical software functionality. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
- Michael Easley, Client Services Director will be expanding the scope and quality of client systems implementation and integration projects at ESS. He has a strong background in design and implementation of central enterprise compliance management systems for Fortune 100 integrated oil and gas customers. Easley brings more than 15 years experience in regulatory compliance and environmental data management to ESS. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla (now called Missouri University of Science and Technology).
